I felt I was scammed by the person who put the insulation in, so I was on high alert when I contacted Lee. He seemed knowledgeable, patient, and shared photos of his work so I went forward.

Lee and his brother worked very hard and exceeded my expectations. They took great care not to damage the roof structure. It’s nearly impossible to see any of the closed-cell foam. I’m very happy with the job and would highly recommend Lee.

I first contacted Lee to remove the spray foam insulation having been made aware of the hazards this type of insulation could ultimately cause. Not only was I impressed with Lee’s honesty regarding the above hazards but his explanation as to the work involved and time duration he expected this work to take.

I consider Lee carried out this work to an exceptionally high standard; there is no evidence of this foam ever having been installed in the first instance, i.e. He methodically removed all the foam and cleaned each rafter, and left the loft, my landing, stairs and home immaculate.

Lee was really helpful and able to quote virtually for the work. He was really accommodating and able to squeeze our job in quickly. They managed to complete the job in 4 days from start to finish. They were really tidy when on-site and arranged for prompt collection of all the waste. The house has since been surveyed by an independent surveyor and high street bank surveyor and no issues have been flagged.

We asked Lee at Britt & Co to remove closed cell spray foam from our loft, to allow us to sell the property. A RICS Surveyor had picked up on the foam and without removal, the sale could not happen.

Lee gave us a very competitive quote (ok, of the 3 quotes we got, it was the cheapest!), and agreed a date to start the work, with an estimated completion date.

Lee arrived when he said he would and worked so hard to remove the foam from the loft interior. This was done without removing tiles and battens (which another contractor said was necessary).

After 2 weeks of hard slog, the work was completed and to our relief, when the loft was reinspected by the Surveyor, he was amazed at the quality of the removal job and specifically asked who had achieved this result for us. The Surveyor thought that a new roof would be needed, so to say Britt and Co got us a great result is not an exaggeration.

Our sale is now completing in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much Lee, if we ever buy another property with spray foam (we won’t), we know who to call.

Lee and his team removed the spray on insulation from a three bedroom house for me and did a fantastic job. He came and did an estimate very quickly, started when he said he would start, worked very hard in a professional manner throughout, cleaned up and had all the rubbish taken away and when the surveyor turned up she took his card as she was that impressed with the completed works. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
