In order to be able to secure an equity release agreement, some spray foam insulation needed to be removed from the inside of my parent’s roof. This work was completed to a very high standard and thereby enabling us to secure a valid survey so that the equity agreement could proceed.

Lee and his team were polite, efficient and informative throughout and ensured that all waste was removed and disposed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Britt and Co to anyone faced with a similar situation.

When our buyers’ mortgage was declined because we had spray foam insulation in our loft (put in by the previous owner), we were panicked, with no idea how to proceed. When it became clear that the insulation was closed-cell, and that this was the worst kind, our panic grew. Many people I spoke to wouldn’t even consider removing this type.

Lee was reassuring, reliable, thorough and above all honest. His quote was reasonable and he worked very hard to ensure that we had a positive result. Shortly after he completed the job, it was signed off with no issues by the mortgage company.

We had closed cell foam insulation removed from the loft by Lee from Britco. Lee was very punctual and updated us daily on the progress. The work was completed in the timescale quoted. We are extremely pleased with the high standard of work and the end result. We would not hesitate to contact Lee if we required any future work.

I am writing on behalf of my grandparents, Herbie and Freda, who used the company for removal of foam insulation. They were very impressed with Lee and his brother who were very prompt every day and very neat and tidy. They worked tirelessly in the heat too to clear the insulation. Would highly recommend as they were both very professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. Thank you!

Lee from our first contact was professional, helpful and we were so pleased with the overall job. He was punctual, his initial quote was reasonable and didn’t change. He was always polite and neat and tidy and keen to ensure we were happy at all stages. We would definitely recommend.

Our mortgage company were happy with his photos of the finished job and mortgage was approved.

We asked Lee at Britt & Co to remove closed cell spray foam from our loft, to allow us to sell the property. A RICS Surveyor had picked up on the foam and without removal, the sale could not happen.

Lee gave us a very competitive quote (ok, of the 3 quotes we got, it was the cheapest!), and agreed a date to start the work, with an estimated completion date.

Lee arrived when he said he would and worked so hard to remove the foam from the loft interior. This was done without removing tiles and battens (which another contractor said was necessary).

After 2 weeks of hard slog, the work was completed and to our relief, when the loft was reinspected by the Surveyor, he was amazed at the quality of the removal job and specifically asked who had achieved this result for us. The Surveyor thought that a new roof would be needed, so to say Britt and Co got us a great result is not an exaggeration.

Our sale is now completing in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much Lee, if we ever buy another property with spray foam (we won’t), we know who to call.
